This blog will probably cause me to be scoffed at by some of my closest friends.

I'm not just spouting nonsense so people that I love will stop talking to me. I'm not just spouting nonsense so that I can impress people that I will never meet. How ridiculous would that be?

Let’s begin…

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Origins of Life

The alternative to God existing is that all that exists around us came about by natural cause and random chance. If someone is rolling dice, the odds of rolling a pair of sixes is one thing. But the odds of spots appearing on blank dice are something else.*

Where did all of this life come from? Metaphorically speaking, how did the spots appear on the dice?

Well, there are only two plausible choices; either our universe was created or it has evolved.

Those that believe in a creator claim that they are backed by the law of biogenesis. Louis Pasteur proved in the 1800's (through the law of biogenesis) that life does not and cannot arise from non-life. Before the law of biogenesis was established, people believed that life could originate from lifeless matter. For instance, many assumed that maggots actually came from the dead or decaying meat itself (at the time, they had no idea that maggots were actually fly larvae).

Abiogenesis is the only other scientific explanation through which life came to be. Atheists claim that life can exist from non-life through special circumstances. Yet, even proponents of this theory must admit that they do not know what these special circumstances are. Are these special circumstances the same special circumstances that Santa Claus uses to make it around the world to every household in one night? You get my point. It's only a theory. Someone proposed it to be true but it can't be proven.

Here is the dictionary's definition of an opinion: "a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty". Abiogenesis is therefore, by definition, an opinion.

There are very interesting experiments that were conducted by the scientific team of Miller and Urey. Simply enough, their observations are called the Miller-Urey experiment. We'll briefly discuss their experiment but before I do, since I've introduced the law of biogenesis, let's determine what scientific law is.

Wikipedia.com states, "A scientific law or scientific principle is a concise verbal or mathematical statement of a relation that is ALWAYS applied under the same conditions." With that knowledge at hand, please continue reading.

The major deficiency with the Miller-Urey experiment (or Urey–Miller experiment) is that these scientists attempted to reproduce the atmospheric makeup of Earth from around the time that life began. So they themselves would admit to simulating hypothetical conditions. It's quite possible that they were correct...yet it's still only a hypothetical conclusion.

Let's take it a step further. It's impractical to think that the Industrial Revolution did not change the atmospheric makeup to at least some degree. Given this, how can we even attempt to conclude (with accuracy) what the exact chemical or compound makeup of the atmosphere was before the 18th century? Simply put, we can't.

The Origins of our Universe

Exactly what is considered our universe? Let's go back to Wikipedia.com. It states, "The Universe is defined as everything that physically exists: the entirety of space and time, all forms of matter, energy and momentum, and the physical laws and constants that govern them."

Ever heard of the Hubble Space Telescope? Of course you have. It was named after an American astronomer named Edwin Hubble. He documented the distance between two celestial bodies and he also documented the distance of celestial bodies from the Earth. After doing so, he observed and noted that the distance was increasing. Hubble's law proves that the universe is expanding.

Albert Einstein's Theory of General Relativity (E=MC squared) has proven incredibly accurate, to within 5 decimal points. It is thereby one of the most acknowledged and accepted principles in all of physics. When Einstein's Theory of Relativity is applied to our cosmos, it reveals that universe is not stagnant. It's constantly expanding.

This begs the question, "What is our universe expanding into?". Most likely it's just empty space. Empty space is best translated into layman's terms as the absence of anything. What else could it logically be more apt to be? All other galaxies, stars, matter and energy are contained within the sphere of what we call our universe. Outside of that, there is nothing that we know of.

The possibilities of what COULD lie beyond our universe are practically endless. We simply don't know what's outside of that which we can observe. The most widely accepted hypothesis by Christian and Atheist scientists alike is that "empty space" or "nothing" lies beyond the edge of our universe. For the sake of time, we'll accept this as truth because it cannot be proven otherwise at this time.

Regardless of what our universe is expanding into, it's been proven scientifically that it IS constantly expanding. We can also extrapolate from this that it has not always existed.

How can I justifiably say that the universe hasn't been around forever? This example explains it clearly:

Say for instance that I have a pile of sand. As each day passes, I add one grain of sand to my pile and make it expand. Now, if I were to take a video of myself doing this and watch it in reverse, each day I would be removing one grain of sand from the pile. I would eventually make it back to the day when I had NO sand in my pile. The same holds true to the universe. If you were to watch the universe being sucked back into itself, eventually there would be nothing at all. Even an atom can be reduced to protons, neutrons and electrons...where does it go from there? Quarks? Then it contracts beyond that into what? Unobserved energy? That's just a fancy way of saying "nothing", isn't it?

Since it hasn't always existed, how has all of this come into being? Again, outside of universe there IS NOTHING. So before the universe sprang into existence, there WAS NOTHING. No energy, no mass, no matter, no momentum...nothing. I believe it was Aristotle that said, "Nothing is what a rock thinks about."

Did this energy just manifest itself from nothing into existence somehow?

The first law of thermodynamics states that energy can be transformed (changed from one form to another) but it cannot be created or destroyed.

In other words, since the universe isn't eternal and without the universe there is nothing... the energy by which it began had to be transferred from somewhere or something. So how was this energy transferred from "nothing"? My brain hurts just trying to comprehend it.

Let's take a break from all of this deep-thinking for few seconds. Let's have some fun.

Concentrate to the absolute best of your abilities and read the story that I'm about to tell to you. If you have any noise distractions or people bothering you, it’s best to do this later. Stop reading this article right now and come back when you are totally free of distractions.

If you are ready, read the words of this story slowly. Don't rush through them.
_____________________________________________________________________________________

Again, read the words of this story slowly. Imagine this. . . . . . . . . . . .

We’re surrounded by pitch-black nothingness. You are viewing the universe at its present size on an imaginary timeline of sorts. You’re looking at it eye-level but it’s way, way, waaaaaaay out in the distance...

It’s just you and me here along with this imaginary timeline and our present day universe. Everything else is black. There’s not a sound to be heard anywhere. It’s just an abyss all around us. We’re just wandering around curiously...unembodied imagination. Your mind is here but your body doesn’t seem like it is. The only thing that you can compare it to is the feeling that you get when your foot was asleep but now that feeling has overtaken your entire being, your whole body is asleep...yet your consciousness is awake...everything has disassociated itself from you now. All that remains is your analytical thought process and your emotions. It’s so black that everything around us just fades out of view...but for some reason, we’re able to focus on what is directly in front of our eyes.

As you look to the left, the present day universe fades into the darkness and you see our universe in a more expanded state, it appears to be larger...it has grown. Einstein and Hubble were right. It’s huge! We both recognize this as the future. It’s interesting, but we’re not going that way. We’re going to go backwards through time to the exact moment that our universe came into being.

"Look way off to the right." I say. As soon as you turn your thoughts in that direction, you feel instantly transported somewhere. Where is this new place? Everything is still so dark. It almost feels like you’re floating at the bottom of a giant ocean of black ink. The darkness is so black...and yet it’s still getting darker somehow. We’re both just standing here... looking around... and then you spot it! The universe is still directly in front of us but it’s immeasurably smaller now. You can make out what appears to be a teeny-tiny molecule. It’s so small, almost like a single atom of visible light. You feel incredibly intense energy radiating from it. It's indescribable - it almost feels like you’re being swayed back and forth in invisible waves. The energy is so strong that you hear me gasp and stumble for words, “uppp...ee...wha...WOW!”.

The darkness is so thick that you can feel it brushing up against you. We’re now standing in the midst of the energy that stirred our universe into existence.

While we're here, about to watch our universe come into being, you start to think to yourself. "If the first law of thermodynamics says that energy can be transformed but it can't created nor destroyed, where did this incredible amount of energy come from? It couldn't have always existed because Einstein and Hubble's observations proved that our universe is not eternal. If this immense energy was not created and it has not existed for an infinite duration of time, how did it come to reside in this powerful subatomic particle of light?"

I interrupt your thought process..."I can’t explain it," I say. We both begin to drift back into our thoughts... thoughts that might explain what is happening. Here we are... in this black ocean of nothingness... just waiting for the beginning of the universe to EXPLODE with a fury of unbridled energy never witnessed before or after this moment. How is it possible that we are even stuck in this moment? How are we here before our universe began? It’s almost like we’ve pushed the pause button but this is life, or at least it’s some form of existence. The universe is frozen in the exact millionth of a second before it bursts VIOLENTLY into existence. Time is frozen but for some reason you and I can still move and think freely. I say with excitement, “We are now functioning outside of the concepts of time and space!" You ask, "How we can exist outside of now?" Practically breathless I say, "It just came to me. This is how I figured out that there is no such thing as now," I proclaim. "WHAT?!?!", you ask. I begin to explain... "When we were on Earth, the light from the Sun took over 8 minutes to reach us... So, when we were looking at the Sun, we were actually looking into the past. If the Sun exploded, we wouldn't know it until 8 minutes after it happened" I take a breath. "We can see the Sun's light but it wouldn't be able to see the Earth unless it observed it's OWN light bouncing off of the Earth and returning to itself. So, while on Earth we were seeing what we thought was 'now' but it was actually eight minutes into the past for us and the Sun was seeing sixteen minutes into the past of Earth. So which of the three times was the 'now'?" We both drift back into thought... How did this energy even get here "now" from "nothing"?

"I got it!" I yell. "There’s only one scientifically allowable explanation. A separate ETERNAL energy source that exists BEYOND what we consider to be 'nothing' and 'now' had to transfer its energy into our universe." I pause, then say, "So in other words, if we were still on Earth, we would NEVER be able to scientifically prove that this eternal being exists. It doesn't reside in the boundaries of time, energy, matter, momentum or the laws that govern those things and yet these things are the only way we can observe it. Nonetheless, the fact remains that it DOES EXIST! Scientifically there is NO other possibility as to where this energy came from." You dismiss my notion and try to think of something else that could explain how this energy got here. You begin to rationalize, "How can anything exist outside of this great rift of nothingness? There are two options. It either exists IN the universe or OUTSIDE of it... here with us. There are no alternatives, there are no other possibilities!"

Suddenly, there's a tapping noise on the other side of the darkness. Neither of us can fully comprehend what has just happened. This thing that we consider to be our universe's creator, this unembodied imagination, somehow exists behind the veil of what we perceive to be nothing. Somehow, this "being" has managed to poke a tiny hole into the cosmological fabric of what our mind considered to be nothing. There's now incredible light pouring out from the other side of whatever this new indescribable void or devoid is and we’re both instantaneously sucked into it.

"What IS this?" I ask. "It's not ‘nothing’... we were just in ‘nothing' ... We BOTH KNOW that we were standing in a lack of anything." I keep yapping away, "It was just a giant vacuum of incomparable darkness. Before the Big-Bang, there was no space...there was no matter...it all came into being after that." Whatever this new chasm is, that eternal energy source was here before us.

I begin to think so loudly, you can hear my thoughts, "Okay, no energy is created. It’s only transferred. So, since I cannot create my own existence, this "thing" has transferred some of its energy to me... Whoa! THIS THING GAVE ME LIFE!" So while its energy is present inside our universe that was waiting to burst into existence, it's also simultaneously in us BUT it is also in 'nothing' and outside of 'nothing'."

We now close our eyes because the light here is so bright. It's too intense for us to handle. After closing our “eyes," the light seems to dim behind our eyelids. "It’s okay!" I exclaim. "We can see again." We've found a way to the end of the light that was behind the abyss. It's now black again and we can barely see the light from which we came. It seems so far from us now. “This is not even possible!” I yell. Our thoughts have somehow managed to exist in an abyss in which nothing existed, tear through what science told us was nothing, confront an incredibly intense brightness of nothing and now we're so far behind that we can hardly even see it?? "This is... I can't even... what... I mean... how did we get here?" I ask inquisitively. "What is this new place that we're in?" Suddenly it dawns on me. "We’re passing through different dimensions. Time and space and the rules that governed our earthly existence don’t apply here."
____________________________________________________________________________________

Just as our imaginations drifted off to all of those places, this eternal being IS there and has always BEEN there. There is no other scientific possibility. It cannot be encompassed by what we consider to be "anything" or "nothing" or even "everything".

"For what is everything? Isn't everything by definition also nothing?"

That question was revealed to me while I was writing this message. I am not a deep thinker. I do not know where this thought came from. Yet, it's perfectly clear to me what it means. There's no way I can begin to describe it to you if you don't understand it's meaning. It will have to be revealed to you for it to truly make sense.

Although it is beyond words - this "energy," this "god" - is in everything... and yet it's somehow also in nothing. It is truly omnipresent: so much so, that our minds can't even conceive it. Our thoughts just chase each other around and end up at a different conclusion and different place each time. Yet, there are still an infinite number of places in which this thing’s "spirit" (for lack of a better word) resides. Wherever or whatever this "thing" is, it just "is."

No doubt that this is what confounded the man known as Moses when he asked this "god" what his name was and it just said, "I AM". Meditate on that.

There is a great "I AM" who can transfer its energy to whenever, wherever, however, and to whomever it cares to: in any dimension or outside of any dimension, in any light or darkness, and even through the light and darkness. It even exists in both the light and the darkness simultaneously. There is absolutely and undeniably no other scientific possibility for where this energy came from. It had to be something this powerful.

What could this eternal energy source, this "god", possibly be?

We have three conceivable choices to contemplate:

1. It's an unconscious energy source (an unintelligible blob of energy that just is) and this ”thing”, for a lack of a better word, transferred its energy by happenstance into our abyss and created order.
-- This actually is NOT an option because it is scientifically not viable. The second law of thermodynamics states that order cannot come from disorder without being acted upon by an outside source. We can observe complexity, order, and design throughout the entire universe so this energy must have been transferred from a being or combination of beings with a consciousness.

2. A combination of multiple energy sources transferred their energy.
-- This could be so, but if it were true, would not the same chaos exist? More than likely, multiple energy sources wouldn't be able to regulate their outflow of energy. Chances are that these "multiple gods" would disperse uncoordinated emissions of energy that would spike and recess with such great unpredictability that their combined energies would be unable to cause order. Even if you believe in this theory of "multiple gods", why wouldn't each god just create its own universe and have absolute say?

3. A single intelligent energy source with a consciousness far greater than we can comprehend transferred its energy to our universe and gave it order.
-- This is the most logical explanation. Our creator was an intelligent mind that knew exactly what we needed to survive because it created us. It knew exactly how far to place our planet in orbit away from the sun. It derived a never-ending means of recycling water and dispersing it so that we would never run out. (Solid particles are not carried into the clouds through evaporation. They remain on the ground and because of that, our water is "cleaned" naturally. Rain clouds are capable of being carried by wind throughout the entire world and produce clean water to any location that our creator chooses.)

Brandon Carter, an Australian theoretical physicist, developed what he called "the anthropic principle," which states that the physical order of the universe is precisely what it has to be in order to support life.

If the Big Bang would've exploded with too little velocity, the universe would have collapsed back in on itself shortly afterward because of the pull of gravitational forces BUT if it had occurred with too much velocity, matter would have been dispersed so quickly that it would not have been possible for galaxies and solar systems to form.

If the Earth were 1 degree closer to the Sun, all of Earth's water would boil away BUT if the Earth were 1 degree farther from the Sun, all water would freeze. Our planet revolves around the Sun at a speed of over 65,000 mph but it also rotates on its axis, allowing the entire surface of the Earth to be properly warmed and cooled every day.

There are numerous other facts similar to these... Okay, okay, here's a few more for you to think about:

If our distance to Jupiter were any further, asteroids and comets would destroy us but if we were any closer, our orbit would become unstable.

If the surface gravity on our planet were any stronger, the Earth would retain too much methane gas and we'd suffocate or at least have to struggle for each breath. However, if the surface gravity were too weak, the Earth's atmosphere would allow the water to escape into space.

If the magnetic field were much stronger, electromagnetic storms would torment us; if it were much weaker, the ozone layer would not be able to shield us from solar radiation.

If the Earth's crust were too thin, volcanoes and earthquakes would make life impossible or at best incredibly miserable.

If carbon dioxide levels were any lower plants would be unable to maintain photosynthesis and the circle of life would end. There would be no plant or animal life for us to consume. At some point in the food chain, animals must feed on plant or insect life. Even if animals ate strictly insects, the insects themselves must feed on plant life. Therefore, if photosynthesis ceased to exist, the food chain would be dismantled and we would starve.

According to science, the likelihood of all of these "special conditions" occurring are less than one in one thousand trillion (x6). SAY WHAT??

With these astronomical improbabilities made clear, you decide for yourself if there is a god.

If, after reading this you do not believe in God, you are stubborn and unreasonable. It is not your mind that refuses to believe, it is your WILL that refuses to believe. It is your right to still deny what has scientifically just been proven to you. However, your "belief" (or lack thereof) does not any more or less change the fact that there is a god.

Let me leave you with this thought:

You can choose not to believe that a loaded gun has the potential to kill you. You can meditate and chant positive mantras all day. You can watch special effects makeup artists showing how they produce fake bullet holes in human flesh and you might eventually believe this to be the case for all bullet holes. You can convince yourself that the gun will not discharge because there is no scientific process or engineering reflected in its internal parts. You believe that bullets are imaginary, much like fairies (or perhaps God in your circumstance). You might even believe that the loaded gun can't hurt you if it's invisible to your human eyes. But rest assured, if an expert sniper with a .50 caliber rifle sets his sights on you from a mile away and pulls the trigger, the events that follow are not determined by what you believe or don't believe. They were based on fact and principle: scientific law.

This is the end of my words. The questions below were asked and addressed by a former atheist. If you are an atheist, you will probably find particular interest in the third question.

If you are interested in learning on how develop a relationship with God (He is wonderful, let me tell you), this atheist… errr… former atheist, addresses that as well. Read her response to the last two questions.

Does God exist? by Marilyn Adamson

The human brain's complexity shows a higher intelligence behind it.
The human brain simultaneously processes an amazing amount of information. Your brain takes in all the colors and objects you see, the temperature around you, the pressure of your feet against the floor, the sounds around you, the dryness of your mouth, even the texture of your keyboard. Your brain holds and processes all your emotions, thoughts and memories. At the same time your brain keeps track of the ongoing functions of your body like your breathing pattern, eyelid movement, hunger and movement of the muscles in your hands.
The human brain processes more than a million messages a second. Your brain weighs the importance of all this data, filtering out the relatively unimportant. This screening function is what allows you to focus and operate effectively in your world. A brain that deals with more than a million pieces of information every second, while evaluating its importance and allowing you to act on the most pertinent information... Did it come about just by chance? Was it merely biological causes, perfectly forming the right tissue, blood flow, neurons, structure? The brain functions differently than other organs. There is an intelligence to it, the ability to reason, to produce feelings, to dream and plan, to take action, and relate to other people. How does one explain the human brain?

Does God exist? To state with certainty that there is no God, a person has to ignore the passion of an enormously vast number of people who are convinced that there is a God.
This is not to say that if enough people believe something it is therefore true. Scientists, for example, have discovered new truths about the universe which overruled previous conclusions. But as science has progressed, no scientific discovery has countered the numerical likelihood of an intelligent mind being behind it all. In fact, the more science discovers about human life and the universe, the more complex and precisely designed we realize these to be. Rather than pointing away from God, evidence mounts further toward an intelligent source. But objective evidence is not all.

There is a much larger issue. Throughout history, billions of people in the world have attested to their firm, core convictions about God's existence -- arrived at from their subjective, personal relationship with God. Millions today could give detailed account of their experience with God. They would point to answered prayer and specific, amazing ways God has met their needs, and guided them through important personal decisions. They would offer, not only a description of their beliefs, but detailed reports of God's actions in their lives. Many are sure that a loving God exists and has shown himself to be faithful to them. If you are a skeptic, can you say with certainty: "I am absolutely right and they all are wrong about God"?

Does God exist? We know God exists because he pursues us. He is constantly initiating and seeking for us to come to him.

I used to be an atheist. And like most atheists, the issue of people believing in God bothered me greatly. What is it about atheists that we would spend so much time, attention, and energy refuting something that we don't believe even exists?! What causes us to do that? When I was an atheist, I attributed my intentions as caring for those poor, delusional people... to help them realize their hope was completely ill-founded. To be honest, I also had another motive. As I challenged those who believed in God, I was deeply curious to see if they could convince me otherwise. Part of my quest was to become free from the question of God. If I could conclusively prove to believers that they were wrong, then the issue is off the table, and I would be free to go about my life.

I didn't realize that the reason the topic of God weighed so heavily on my mind, was because God was pressing the issue. I have come to find out that God wants to be known. He created us with the intention that we would know him. He has surrounded us with evidence of himself and he keeps the question of his existence squarely before us. It was as if I couldn't escape thinking about the possibility of God. In fact, the day I chose to acknowledge God's existence, my prayer began with, "Ok, you win..." It might be that the underlying reason atheists are bothered by people believing in God is because God is actively pursuing them.

I am not the only one who has experienced this. Malcolm Muggeridge, socialist and philosophical author, wrote, "I had a notion that somehow, besides questing, I was being pursued." C.S. Lewis said he remembered, "...night after night, feeling whenever my mind lifted even for a second from my work, the steady, unrelenting approach of Him whom I so earnestly desired not to meet. I gave in, and admitted that God was God, and knelt and prayed: perhaps, that night, the most dejected and reluctant convert in all of England."

Lewis went on to write a book titled, "Surprised by Joy" as a result of knowing God. I too had no expectations other than rightfully admitting God's existence. Yet over the following several months, I became amazed by his love for me.

Does God exist? Unlike any other revelation of God, Jesus Christ is the clearest, most specific picture of God pursuing us.

Why Jesus? Look throughout the major world religions and you'll find that Buddha, Muhammad, Confucius and Moses all identified themselves as teachers or prophets.
None of them ever claimed to be equal to God. Surprisingly, Jesus did. That is what sets Jesus apart from all the others. He said God exists and you're looking at him. Though he talked about his Father in heaven, it was not from the position of separation, but of very close union, unique to all humankind. Jesus said that anyone who had seen Him had seen the Father, anyone who believed in him, believed in the Father.
He said, "I am the light of the world, he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." He claimed attributes belonging only to God: to be able to forgive people of their sin, free them from habits of sin, give people a more abundant life and give them eternal life in heaven. Unlike other teachers who focused people on their words, Jesus pointed people to himself. He did not say, "follow my words and you will find truth." He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but through me."

What proof did Jesus give for claiming to be divine?

He did what people can't do. Jesus performed miracles. He healed people...blind, crippled, deaf, even raised a couple of people from the dead. He had power over objects...created food out of thin air, enough to feed crowds of several thousand people. He performed miracles over nature...walked on top of a lake, commanding a raging storm to stop for some friends. People everywhere followed Jesus, because he constantly met their needs, doing the miraculous. He said if you do not want to believe what I'm telling you, you should at least believe in me based on the miracles you're seeing.
Jesus Christ showed God to be gentle, loving, aware of our self-centeredness and shortcomings, yet deeply wanting a relationship with us. Jesus revealed that although God views us as sinners, worthy of his punishment, his love for us ruled and God came up with a different plan. God himself took on the form of man and accepted the punishment for our sin on our behalf. Sounds ludicrous? Perhaps, but many loving fathers would gladly swap places with their child in a cancer ward if they could. The Bible says that the reason we would love God is because he first loved us.
Jesus died in our place so we could be forgiven. Of all the religions known to humanity, only through Jesus will you see God reaching toward humanity, providing a way for us to have a relationship with him. Jesus proves a divine heart of love, meeting our needs, drawing us to himself. Because of Jesus' death and resurrection, he offers us a new life today. We can be forgiven, fully accepted by God and genuinely loved by God. He says, "I have loved you with an everlasting love, therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you." This is God, in action.
Does God exist? If you want to know, investigate Jesus Christ. We're told that "God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."
God does not force us to believe in him, though he could. Instead, he has provided sufficient proof of his existence for us to willingly respond to him. The earth's perfect distance from the sun, the unique chemical properties of water, the human brain, DNA, the number of people who attest to knowing God, the gnawing in our hearts and minds to determine if God is there, the willingness for God to be known through Jesus Christ. If you need to know more about Jesus and reasons to believe in him, please see: Beyond Blind Faith.

If you want to begin a relationship with God now, you can.

This is your decision, no coercion here. But if you want to be forgiven by God and come into a relationship with him, you can do so right now by asking him to forgive you and come into your life. Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door [of your heart] and knock. He who hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him [or her]." If you want to do this, but aren't sure how to put it into words, this may help: "Jesus, thank you for dying for my sins. You know my life and that I need to be forgiven. I ask you to forgive me right now and come into my life. I want to know you in a real way. Come into my life now. Thank you that you wanted a relationship with me. Amen."
God views your relationship with him as permanent. Referring to all those who believe in him, Jesus Christ said of us, "I know them, and they follow me; and I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand."
So, does God exist? Looking at all these facts, one can conclude that a loving God does exist and can be known in an intimate, personal way.
